This is a review of Sorce written by the founders. We'll be honest about what works, what doesn't, and where competitors win.

What Sorce does

  • iOS app that surfaces matching jobs based on your resume.
  • Swipe right to apply (AI agent submits on the company's career site).
  • Tailored cover letter generated per application.
  • 5M+ open roles in our database.
  • 40 free swipes/day.

What works

  • Speed. 40 applications in 5 minutes is normal. Manual applying takes 15-30 minutes per role.
  • Visibility. Every application went out because you swiped right. No autopilot misfires.
  • Free tier. Indefinite, with the AI included. Most competitors gate the AI behind a paid plan.
  • Mobile-first. Native iOS, swipe-built. You can apply from anywhere.
  • Cover letters. Tailored, role-specific. Real placements at SpaceX, Anduril, NVIDIA, OpenAI.

What doesn't work yet

  • No Android. iOS-first. Android is on the roadmap.
  • Some unusual ATS forms trip up the agent occasionally. We notify you when this happens.
  • Detailed application-tracking dashboard. Functional but leaner than dedicated trackers (Huntr, Teal).
  • No interview prep features. Pair Sorce with Final Round AI for that.

What competitors do better

  • JobCopilot: more detailed application-tracking dashboards.
  • Huntr / Teal: project-management style trackers with kanban boards.
  • AIApply: marginally more polished cover letter output.
  • Jobscan: deeper ATS keyword analysis on a single resume.
  • Final Round AI: interview prep depth.

We don't pretend to win on every dimension. We win on the combination of swipe-first UX + AI agent + free tier + 5M+ jobs.

The numbers

  • 20M+ swipes across 850K+ users
  • 1M+ applications submitted
  • 1,000+ landed jobs
  • Placements: SpaceX, Anduril, NVIDIA, OpenAI, Ramp, Coinbase, Figma, DoorDash, Vercel, Browserbase, Robinhood

Should you use Sorce

Yes if: you want auto-apply with visibility, a real free tier, mobile-first UX, and the largest jobs database in the AI auto-apply category.

Maybe not if: you're applying to 5 dream roles where every application is hand-tuned. For that, Jobscan is better suited.
