Easy Apply resume removal
Desktop:
- Click Me → Settings & Privacy
- Go to Account preferences → Application settings
- Click Manage under "Manage your resumes"
- Click the trash icon next to the resume to delete it
Mobile:
- Tap profile photo → Settings
- Account preferences → Application settings → Manage your resumes
- Delete
LinkedIn keeps your last 4 uploaded resumes. You can delete any.
Featured section resume removal
If you posted your resume publicly to your Featured section:
- Go to your profile
- Scroll to the Featured section
- Click the pencil icon on the resume post
- Click Delete at the bottom
Featured posts are publicly visible; deletion is immediate.
Why people remove resumes
- Privacy. Public resumes invite scammers and recruiter spam.
- Stale. An outdated resume is worse than none.
- Career pivot. The old resume doesn't reflect current direction.
After removal
If you still want Easy Apply to work, upload a new resume the next time you Easy Apply — LinkedIn will save it.
