Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer service through liaising with customers, shippers, and overseas partners while executing timely freight bookings, shipment pick-ups, and monitoring activities. Responsibilities include coordinating import/export shipments, preparing and executing documents for import/export consignments, and managing internal and external communications. Ideal candidates should have 1-3 years of experience in operations, possess end-to-end air/ocean freight import/export knowledge, and demonstrate strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- End to end Air/Ocean Freight Import / Export experience is essential
- Able to plan work and meet deadlines
- A pro-active attitude
- Ability to work under pressure to cope with periods of high workload and tight timelines
- Willingness to work overtime to meet deadlines when required
Desired Qualifications
- Work experience in international logistics or freight forwarding apprenticeship preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in operation preferred
- International working experience preferred
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Other languages (written and spoken) beneficial
- Microsoft Office 365 Products
- CargoWise One experience is a plus
